Venus Fungicide

Venus Fungicide is a broad-spectrum strobilurin fungicide powered by trifloxystrobin for preventive disease control in labeled agricultural crops. As a FRAC Group 11 QoI fungicide, Venus helps protect plants by forming a strong barrier against infection while providing continued release into leaf tissue.

With translaminar movement, Venus helps protect both sides of the leaf and provides dependable coverage in dense, hard-to-penetrate canopies. It is designed to help stop early and developing fungal diseases by preventing initial infection and reducing secondary disease spread. Venus is the generic equivalent of Flint Extra Fungicide.

Features & Benefits

Broad-spectrum fungicide for labeled fruit, vegetable, nut, rice, seed, soybean, wheat, and specialty crop disease programs

Contains 42.6% trifloxystrobin, a FRAC Group 11 QoI / strobilurin fungicide

Preventive disease protection helps stop infection before disease becomes established

Translaminar activity helps protect both sides of treated leaf surfaces

Helps improve coverage and protection in dense plant canopies

Labeled for many important diseases including powdery mildew, Alternaria, anthracnose, rust, scab, early blight, Botrytis bunch rot, rice blast, sheath blight, and Cercospora leaf spot

Target Diseases

Venus is labeled for control or suppression of many crop diseases, including powdery mildew, Alternaria, Alternaria leaf spot, Alternaria late blight, anthracnose, rust, scab, shot hole, brown rot blossom blight, Stemphylium purple spot, greasy spot, melanose, post-bloom fruit drop, Plectosporium blight, downy mildew suppression, early blight, late blight in labeled tank mixtures, gray leaf spot, Septoria leaf spot, Botrytis bunch rot, Phomopsis cane and leaf spot, black rot, cherry leaf spot, fly speck, sooty blotch, bitter rot, white rot, sheath blight, rice blast, Cercospora leaf spot, Rhizoctonia diseases, soybean rust, frogeye leaf spot, tan spot, glume blotch, and Fusarium head scab suppression.

Application Notes

Apply Venus according to the crop-specific directions on the product label. Thorough coverage is necessary to provide disease control. Use higher labeled rates and shorter labeled intervals when disease pressure is severe. Applications using sufficient water volume to provide thorough and uniform coverage generally provide the most effective disease control.

For resistance management, Venus should be used preventively and rotated with effective fungicides from different FRAC groups. Do not rely on repeated Group 11 applications alone. Follow all crop-specific application rates, pre-harvest intervals, minimum retreatment intervals, maximum annual use limits, and rotation requirements listed on the label.
