Tekko Pro is a professional dual-action insect growth regulator containing pyriproxyfen and novaluron for long-term management of fleas, cockroaches, crickets, ants, flies, mosquitoes, gnats, and other listed pests. Rather than relying on immediate adult knockdown, Tekko Pro disrupts immature insect development, interferes with reproduction, and helps prevent developing pests from reaching the adult stage.

Designed for indoor and outdoor pest-management programs, Tekko Pro is labeled for residential, commercial, institutional, industrial, agricultural, animal-housing, perimeter, lawn, and structural applications. The dual-IGR formulation provides long residual activity, including up to seven months for fleas and up to six months for listed cockroach and cricket programs when used according to label directions.

Target Pests

Tekko Pro is labeled for management of fleas, ticks, cockroaches, crickets, ants, flies, gnats, mosquitoes, moths, midges, and numerous stored-product pests. Stored-product targets include Indian meal moths, rice moths, tobacco moths, red flour beetles, confused flour beetles, lesser grain borers, merchant grain beetles, saw-toothed grain beetles, warehouse beetles, cigarette beetles, and dermestid beetles.

Tekko Pro primarily targets immature stages and reproduction. For heavy adult infestations, the label recommends combining or alternating Tekko Pro with a compatible EPA-registered adulticide according to both product labels.

Application Notes

General flea-control applications typically use 1 fl oz per gallon of water at approximately 1 gallon of finished spray per 1,500 sq ft. Cockroach and cricket programs commonly use 2 fl oz per gallon at approximately 1 gallon per 1,000 sq ft. Outdoor lawn, ornamental, and animal-run treatments generally use 1 fl oz in enough water to cover 1,500 sq ft.

Soil-surface applications provide approximately 21 days of IGR activity, while indoor flea programs may provide activity for up to seven months and cockroach/cricket programs up to six months. Repeat intervals vary by pest and use site. Do not allow children or pets onto treated surfaces until sprays have dried, and ventilate enclosed areas as required by the label.
