Segway Fungicide SC
Segway Fungicide SC is a professional turf and ornamental fungicide containing 34.5% cyazofamid for targeted control of destructive Pythium and other labeled oomycete diseases. In turf, Segway controls Pythium blight, Pythium damping-off, Pythium root dysfunction, and Pythium root rot across golf courses, sod farms, seed farms, professional sports fields, commercial lawns, and other labeled turf sites.
As a FRAC Group 21 fungicide, Segway acts at Complex III of fungal respiration at the Qi site and provides a distinct mode of action for resistance-management programs. The product has limited systemic activity but is primarily intended to be used as a protectant fungicide, making preventive application and rotation with fungicides from different FRAC groups especially important for long-term Pythium management.

On newly seeded turf, apply 0.45 fl oz in 2 to 4 gal of water per 1,000 sq ft immediately after seeding.
For Pythium root dysfunction, apply 0.9 fl oz per 1,000 sq ft. Preventive applications are made every 21 to 28 days during fall and spring when mean daily soil temperatures are between 50°F and 75°F. Curative applications may be made every 14 to 28 days based on symptom development. Immediately follow treatment with 1/8 inch of irrigation.
For Pythium root rot, apply 0.9 fl oz per 1,000 sq ft on a 21-day preventive schedule and immediately follow application with 1/8 inch of irrigation. Do not make more than two consecutive Segway applications before alternating with an effective fungicide having a different mode of action. Do not exceed 2.7 fl oz per 1,000 sq ft per year.
