Heritage G Fungicide

Heritage G Fungicide is a broad-spectrum systemic granular fungicide powered by azoxystrobin for control of listed turfgrass diseases on lawns, golf course turf, parks, recreational areas, athletic fields, and turf around residential, institutional, public, commercial, and industrial buildings. As a Group 11 strobilurin fungicide, Heritage G provides preventive and curative disease-control activity when applied according to label directions.

Heritage G offers the performance of azoxystrobin in a ready-to-spread granular formulation for turf managers who prefer spreader application over spray application. It controls major turf diseases including brown patch, anthracnose, gray leaf spot, red thread, Pythium blight, Pythium root rot, gray snow mold, pink snow mold, summer patch, take-all patch, leaf spot, melting out, necrotic ring spot, fairy ring, and more.

Features & Benefits

Granular azoxystrobin fungicide provides broad-spectrum control of more than 20 labeled turfgrass diseases

Systemic Group 11 strobilurin activity helps protect turf through acropetal movement within the plant

Controls key turf diseases including brown patch, Pythium blight, Pythium root rot, anthracnose, gray leaf spot, red thread, snow mold, summer patch, and take-all patch

Ready-to-spread granular formulation eliminates spray mixing and fits standard granular spreader programs

Extended application intervals up to 28 days on many diseases can reduce application frequency under labeled conditions

Labeled for lawns, golf course turf, parks, recreational areas, athletic fields, and turf around commercial, institutional, public, industrial, and residential buildings

May be used during turfgrass establishment from seed and during overseeding of dormant turfgrass on listed turf types

Useful in turf disease resistance-management programs when alternated with fungicides from different FRAC groups

Labeled Use Sites

Heritage G Fungicide is labeled for control of turf diseases in lawns around residential, institutional, public, commercial, and industrial buildings; turf areas of parks, recreational areas, athletic fields; and golf course turf. It may also be used for control of certain turfgrass diseases associated with turfgrass establishment from seed and during overseeding of dormant turfgrass.

Target Diseases

Heritage G controls listed turf diseases including anthracnose, brown patch, brown ring patch, cool weather brown patch, yellow patch, fairy ring, gray leaf spot, gray snow mold, Typhula blight, leaf rust, stem rust, stripe rust, leaf spot, melting out, Microdochium patch, necrotic ring spot, pink patch, pink snow mold, powdery mildew, Pythium blight, Pythium root rot, Pythium root dysfunction, red thread, Rhizoctonia large patch, Zoysia patch, Rhizoctonia leaf and sheath blight, southern blight, summer patch, and take-all patch.

Application Notes

Apply Heritage G with properly calibrated spreader equipment to provide uniform coverage over the treatment area. Heritage G should generally be applied prior to disease development, and the higher labeled rates or shorter intervals may be needed when disease pressure is high, turf varieties are highly susceptible, or environmental conditions favor disease development.

Professional turf application rates generally range from 2 to 4 pounds of product per 1,000 square feet depending on the target disease, with application intervals commonly ranging from 10 to 28 days. Do not apply more than 1,613 pounds of product per acre per year or 37 pounds per 1,000 square feet per year. Do not apply by air.
