Doxem IG Granular Insecticide Bait

Doxem IG Granular Insecticide Bait is a professional ready-to-use bait containing 0.22% indoxacarb and 0.10% novaluron for control of crickets, mole crickets, cockroaches, earwigs, silverfish, ants, and other labeled crawling pests. It is labeled for indoor structural applications and outdoor treatments including lawns, commercial landscapes, golf courses, parks, recreational areas, sports fields, perimeter areas, and other labeled sites.

Doxem IG combines IRAC Group 22A indoxacarb with Group 15 novaluron to provide two distinct modes of action for resistance-management programs. The bait begins killing crickets within 24 hours and can remain effective for up to 14 days despite dew, rainfall, or irrigation, making it a versatile choice for both professional turf and structural pest-management programs.

Features & Benefits

Dual-active granular bait combines indoxacarb and novaluron for broad-spectrum crawling insect control

Starts killing labeled crickets within 24 hours

Remains effective for up to 14 days despite dew, rainfall, or irrigation

Controls mole crickets, house crickets, field crickets, cockroaches, earwigs, silverfish, and labeled ants

Suitable for broadcast, perimeter, boundary, bait-station, and other label-directed applications

Ready-to-use granules can be applied uniformly with properly calibrated spreading equipment

IRAC Groups 22A and 15 provide two modes of action for planned insecticide resistance management

Labeled Use Sites

Doxem IG is labeled for turfgrass maintained for aesthetic, recreational, or climatic-modification purposes, including home lawns, residential areas, commercial and public landscapes, institutional grounds, business and office complexes, shopping complexes, multifamily residential complexes, airports, cemeteries, parks, playgrounds, schools, golf courses including tees, roughs, fairways, greens and collars, and sports or athletic fields. Outdoor perimeter and boundary treatments may also be made around structures, fence lines, ornamental gardens, pavement crevices, planter areas, vegetation, mulch, and xeriscape areas. Indoor applications include labeled crawl spaces, drop ceilings, basements, structural voids, attics, machine rooms, trash compactor rooms, elevator pits, and similar specified areas. Doxem IG is not labeled for nurseries, greenhouses, or turfgrass grown for sale or seed production.

Target Pests

Doxem IG controls labeled mole cricket adults and nymphs, house crickets, field crickets, earwigs, silverfish, American cockroaches, Turkestan cockroaches, Oriental cockroaches, and ants except fire ants, harvester ants, carpenter ants, and pharaoh ants. Indoor cockroach bait applications may kill cockroaches that consume the granules, but the label states that bait application alone is not intended to provide complete control of an indoor cockroach infestation.

Application Notes

For outdoor broadcast applications, apply 1.84 to 7.36 oz per 100 sq ft, equivalent to 1.15 to 4.6 lb per 1,000 sq ft or 50 to 200 lb per acre, depending on the target pest. American, Turkestan, and Oriental cockroach treatments use 3.68 to 7.36 oz per 100 sq ft. Repeat outdoor broadcast applications after 7 days if necessary. For mole crickets, apply in late afternoon to infested turf; if soil is dry, irrigate before treatment to encourage crickets toward the soil surface, and allow wet turf to dry before applying the bait.

Do not exceed 200 lb of Doxem IG per acre per season for turfgrass broadcast applications. Do not allow livestock or domestic animals to consume the bait or graze treated areas, and do not allow the product to contact food or feed. Indoor application rates and placement vary by site and application method. Always read and follow the complete product label before use.
