3336 DG Lite Granular Fungicide is a professional broad-spectrum systemic fungicide containing 2.08% thiophanate-methyl for prevention and control of numerous turf and ornamental diseases. Its dispersing-granule technology provides convenient granular application while delivering preventive, curative, and systemic disease-control activity in commercial turf, golf courses, and professional ornamental programs.

3336 DG Lite is labeled for cool- and warm-season turf including bentgrass, bluegrass, bermudagrass, fescue, ryegrass, St. Augustinegrass, and zoysiagrass. It controls important turf diseases including dollar spot, anthracnose, brown patch, take-all patch, summer patch, spring dead spot, snow molds, gray leaf spot, stripe smut, and more, while also providing disease control on annual and perennial flowers, bedding plants, foliage plants, groundcovers, trees, and shrubs.

Labeled Use Sites

3336 DG Lite is labeled for professional commercial, residential, and public turf including home lawns treated by licensed professionals, parks, athletic fields, schools, daycare centers, and golf courses including greens, tees, fairways, and aprons. Turf species include bentgrass, bluegrass, bermudagrass, fescue, ryegrass, St. Augustinegrass, zoysiagrass, and mixtures of these grasses. Ornamental uses include nursery, greenhouse, landscape, and interiorscape production of annual and perennial flowers, bedding plants, foliage plants, groundcovers, and deciduous and evergreen trees and shrubs. The product is not labeled for turf grown for sale or commercial sod production and is not for homeowner application.

Target Diseases

3336 DG Lite controls labeled turf diseases including basal anthracnose, foliar anthracnose, Bermudagrass decline, take-all patch, cool-season brown patch, necrotic ring spot, spring dead spot, Coprinus snow mold, dollar spot, large brown patch, Ascochyta leaf blight, copper spot, red thread, Fusarium patch, zoysia patch, Fusarium blight, gray leaf spot, leaf spot, Bipolaris, Curvularia and Exserohilum leaf, crown and root diseases, pink snow mold, stripe smut, summer patch, and bentgrass dead spot.

On ornamentals, 3336 DG Lite also controls labeled soilborne diseases affecting bulbs, corms, rhizomes, roots, crowns, and stems caused by Botrytis, Cylindrocladium, Fusarium, Gliocladium, Myrothecium, Penicillium, Ramularia, Rhizoctonia, Sclerotinia, and Thielaviopsis. It does not control Pythium or Phytophthora.

Application Notes

Apply 3336 DG Lite with properly calibrated ground-based push or mechanical spreader equipment. Do not apply by hand or with a handheld rotary spreader. The product may be applied to dry or moist turf and should be activated with irrigation or natural rainfall within 24 hours. When irrigating, apply approximately 0.1 to 0.25 inch of water to begin product activation.

Turf rates vary by disease and use site. Label rates range from approximately 1.5 to 9 lb per 1,000 sq ft depending on target disease and site. The minimum turf retreatment interval is generally 14 days. Observe all maximum single-application and seasonal-use limits. Resistance management is important with thiophanate-methyl; rotate with effective fungicides having different modes of action and do not rely on thiabendazole-containing products as rotational partners because of similar chemistry.
