Celero Herbicide
Celero Herbicide is a professional selective postemergence herbicide containing 75% imazosulfuron for control of difficult sedges and selected broadleaf weeds in established turfgrass. Its systemic HRAC Group 2 sulfonylurea chemistry is absorbed through both foliage and roots, then moves within susceptible weeds to inhibit growth and provide dependable control of yellow nutsedge, purple nutsedge, annual sedge, green kyllinga, and other labeled weeds.
Designed for both cool- and warm-season turf, Celero is labeled for residential and commercial lawns, golf courses, sod farms, sports fields, parks, schools, roadsides, and other managed turf sites. Broadcast and spot-treatment options give professional applicators flexibility for targeting sedge infestations while maintaining good tolerance across a broad range of established turfgrasses.

Application Notes
For broadcast applications, apply 8 to 14 oz of Celero per acre in 20 to 30 gallons of water plus 0.25% v/v nonionic surfactant. Apply after nutsedge reaches the 3-leaf stage. Use the lower rate for light infestations and the higher rate for heavier sedge pressure. A second application may be made 21 days after the initial treatment when needed.
For spot treatments, mix 0.25 to 0.33 oz of Celero in 1 to 2 gallons of water per 1,000 sq ft and add 2 teaspoons of nonionic surfactant per gallon. Do not irrigate within 4 hours before or after application, and do not apply if rain is expected within 4 hours. Do not mow within 24 hours after treatment, apply to wet or dewy turf, or apply when daily high temperatures are below 65°F or above 90°F. Allow 4 weeks between application and seeding or sodding.
