Astro Insecticide is the most cost effective and best solution in eliminating pests. It effectively controls leafhoppers, beetles, borers, cutworms and others without damaging the bottom line. It's an insecticide that works well even after long use, It will not be washed away with rainfall or irrigation. With it's quick knockdown and long residual feature, this insecticide is the most convenient way of monitoring, controlling and finally eliminating known pests with fewer callbacks. This can be applied with ground and aerial equipment for maximum coverage. It is one of the most cost effective tree care products when used at the rates on the label.

Astro may be used to control insects on ornamentals and lawns in landscaped areas around residential, institutional, public, commercial and industrial buildings, parks, recreational areas and athletic fields.

Application Tips:

  • Apply Astro when insects appear or when you notice they’ve been feeding.
  • For foliar insect applications, apply 4 to 8 ounces per 100 gallons, completely covering foliage.
  • For trunk and stem applications to control borers and beetles, apply 1.0 to 5.3 quarts per 100 gallons, completely covering trunks and stems up to 10 feet from the ground.

Ornamentals in greenhouses and interiorscapes, in residential landscaped areas, around institutional, public, commercial and industrial buildings, parks, recreational areas and athletic fields, use 4 to 8 ounces per 100 gallons of water.

Ornamental trees, use 1 to 5 quarts per 100 gallons of water.

Lawns (around residential, institutional, public, commercial and industrial buildings, parks, recreational areas and athletic fields, use 0.4 to o.8 ounces per 1,000 square feet.

Fruit & Nut Trees (Residential Only), use 1/4 to 1 teaspoon per gallon of water per 436 square feet.
